■ D端子への道
昨日の日記を書いた後、ええい頼んでしまえ！とRADEON用のHDTVアダプタを注文したのですよ。そうしたら、今日ATIから、
The HDTV R9500/9700 adaptor you ordered is designed to work with the RADEON 9500 and the RADEON 9700 line of cards. The HDTV support for the RADEON 9600 line of cards are not currently implemented and they are not supported. Hence, this adaptor is not guaranteed to work with the your video card as it has not been tested.
というメールが送られてきましたよ。9600の仕様表にはしっかりYPrPb component outputと表記されているし、ATIオンラインストアでアクセサリを選択するとHDTVアダプタが表示されるのは一体何なのだ？まぁ、このアバウトさがいかにもATIらしいというか……。
